I like my fleet for the bed space but some of the board members pics of their steps when they are dropped just look bad ass. I personally don't see that many stepsides, anyone got production numbers on how many of each were made? Just curious.

Why chose
I say do both. Have both beds and just swap them out occasionally. WHy limit yourself. In fact just have one fllet truck and one step truck. Your wife will kill you but you will die a happy man

Yes, that would be The Southern Death Cult, then Death Cult, then The Cult. I've got most albums and rare stuff too! One of my all time fav bands. I like every album but the one with the goat on front-too grunge for me.

For a shortbed truck, i think keep the stepside. I had a 8' step, but just didnt like it as well as a shortie. I think the fleets look great in a long box, & have been hooked on this old Longhorn for about 18 years! At any rate, its your truck.......build it to suit you! good luck.......Crazy longhorn.

(thanks Burnsman!) 71 SWB Stepside, was a 250, now is a 402 Big Block with 4 speed and 3.73's ( was crushed by a tree, bed sold, motor pulled) was my first truck!... oh well... 72 LWB 4x4 350 4-speed 3.08's posi wearing army olive drab green (SOLD!) 68 BURB 50TH LOOKALIKE work in progress, soon to have 250-I6 with a 3-speed on the tree 4.11's and posi ( currently sitting in back yard tarped awaiting time, $$$, and lots of love!) 67 1 TON- work truck 396 sm 420 4-speed, flat bed 4.57 gears "big red" (my first landscape truck, very rusty and crusty! but still gets the job done when needed!) |
