Re: Lowered Pictures - Inspiration Needed!
I have 2,5" dropped spindles with 1,5" drop coils in front and a flipkit out back.
I removed 2 leaves wich didnīt affect on the drop but should ride smoother! Tires are 265/50/15 in front and 295/50/15 on 15x10" Eagle alloys! |

Re: Lowered Pictures - Inspiration Needed!
I don't recall how many I had to begin with but I pulled out the big thick one on the bottom and I think the next one above that. I remember the leaf pack being really thick and it rode like a 1 ton. Just have 3 left now. I think if you pull the thick one on the bottom and the next one it should give you a couple of inch drop. I don't tow anything or haul anything heavy otherwise it might be a problem since you are taking away tongue weight capacity and also cargo weight capacity. It seems to ride like a half ton should now. Hope this helps. Trial and error is how I approached it. I had more time than money. It gets tiresome going back and forth so hopefully that will give you the desired drop. I also used 2 inch drop shackles and had to notch the bed supports for this so if you plan to use the drop shackles you might want to notch those bed supports while you are at it and everything is more out of the way. I didn't do that while I had things out of the way and it made getting my grinder up in there a little more difficult and not as "pretty".

That's a really nice truck, 79chevylover. You are sort of local, too.
