Re: project " little daisy"
Got the taillights comming hopefully they will be here sometime this week.... Heres a few pics from this weekend I think I have about 20 hours in this weekend........I resealed all the cab seams and started on the hacked up passenger side fresh air vent. Not sure what the previous owner did here but I managed to cut out a piece froma donor cab for $20..... Lots of welding and grinding involved...

Heres a few pics of what I scored at the yard left and right kick plates 40$ one tranny hump $25 as you can see the one on the right is hacked up pretty good. I also got the drivers side vent cover. I welded up the 4 speed hole. Also snapped a pic of the finished drivers side kick pannel.

Re: project " little daisy"
Well yesterday was like takeing a few steps back. I fired up the compressor and blew the hose so I had to fix that.. Cleaned the shop up and busted out the sawz all so that I could cut out a small section where the driveshaft was rubbing when you hit a bump. Dropped out the driveshaft and proceded to notch crossmember and they it happened I see fluid and think wtf did I cut gas ? brake line so I stop the saw and run for a bucket. Turns out the brake line runs accross the crossmember and it was so dirty I did not see it. Then I proceded to pop off the diff cover to change out the rear fluid and check to see if there really was a posi back there???? guess what no posi not really a big deal but I hate liars... So I get the rear end buttoned up and put the drive shaft back in and fire her up gonna move her out so I can take some pics she runs great and the after getting warmed up she dies crap.... So I check out everything and damned if shes not outta gas so into town I go... Hopefully today will be more productive... wish me luck..

Work through that $h!t and don't let anything stop you. We've all had days like that, or worse. That truck is going to be so nice and I'm seriously jealous!

Got all the door hardware out of the packages and lined for right and left doors. I got the father-in law over to help with shooeting the primerthats a first for him and he did pretty well. He also shoot primer on the inner cab repairs and then he started feeling funny I told him to wear the mask..

Re: project " little daisy"
Got a few things done today I repaied some of the rust on the lower door hinge pocket cover. I got the headlight bucket glass beaded and powder coated black. My new chrome headlight rings came in also but I need a headlight adjusting screw. The guy at auto zone just glazed over when I asked him about the plastic tabs for a 56 chevy headlight adjuster.
