I also have a fresh 350 waiting to go in but I'm like you I want to wait until the 305 or the clutch goes, whichever comes first. Then I plan to make a lot of changes. I have a new GM 89-91 grille and core support, new GM hood and fenders and I just picked up a good used GM left bedside to replace the aftermarket one with. Hopefully one day my truck will look as good as yours does. I have found out over the years that it's better to save your money and buy something nice in the first place rather than something like my truck that needs a lot of work. By the time you pay what I did and have to sink that much or even more into it you could have bought a nice one to begin with and wouldn't have to go through all that work! Unfortunately I live in the rust belt and shortbed 4x4s like this are extremely hard to find in very good condition so you have to start with the best that you can find and start from there. ...Joe

Re: New Daily driver!
That truck is just perfect - stick, 4x4, lift, chrome wheels, bench seat... Bet it makes for one sweet daily driver, talk about commuting in style

I'm selling it to save some money. I'll save over 300 dollars a month once I sell it. It was fun to own, but it's expensive to repair.
