Chev, the 67 and 68 bucket seat option was 3 seperate cushions mounted on one frame with the center seat flipping down for an arm rest and flips up for seating, flip it up again for a storage compartment. That is the bucket seat or buddy buckets that go for lotsa money .. 67 and 68 only.
Longhorn Man: I'm pretty sure I know of an untouched factory original 1969 or '70 LWB (I find it hard to tell the difference between 69 or 70 year models) that has buddy buckets in it. Belongs to a guy I know here who had a relative (now-deceased) who was a GM factory-exec, & the original owner bought the truck as a retirement gift to himself. Would be a factory odd-ball, maybe, if the buddy buckets only came stock in 67 & 68 models. Maybe he had enough clout to get that style of seat for "his truck." I know it's not a 67 or 68, as I have the '68 model year

I'll try to catch the guy I know who has it now, & get a picture of the seats, and the SPID if I can.

Sory - don't mean to hijack the thread.................
