I'm gonna drive the crap out of it! (As carefully as possible of course)
I'm also gonna lower it with all my suspension parts from my 78 chevy truck. (no cutting though) Last edited by 78ChevySilverado; 09-19-2007 at 12:50 AM. |

Re: I just bought a '78 Chevy Blazer with 40K Original Miles!!!
Geeeeeez --- i have got to start looking harder for my trucks. I would say that is a very solid buy for 6500, especially considering the mileage and the fact that its a 2wd. If i saw one like that i would run to the bank quick
I tend to spend way more in the end when i start out with a rougher truck --- |

Incredible. A 30 year old truck in prestine condition with only 40k miles for a mere $6500.

Re: I just bought a '78 Chevy Blazer with 40K Original Miles!!!
The guy I bought the truck from told me I could get good money for the straight 6 since it has such low miles. I'm sure I'll eventually break down and put a 454 in it, but for now, the gas mileage is nice.

Re: I just bought a '78 Chevy Blazer with 40K Original Miles!!!
Something to think about... you probably have equity in your truck. 6500 is an amazing price for what looks to be a great survivor truck in original condition. The only things hurting its value are the 6 cylinder and the color scheme, which may be tough sells. Keep it original and advertise well and you might see 10k for it... really this is just an argument against modding

I agree w/ km454, if your looking for one to mod then sell yours and buy another (or two) and have enough to pay for your mods

Beautiful ride! I also like the idea that it is a 6 banger!
Very Nice score!
