Sure... Can't pass that up. I can get it at the picnic whenever that is, or if I am going to be in the area I can swing by sometime.

Re: Big Block Build is what I'm calling mine. New pics inside

Been doing some work to the truck since I got the new parts. I mocked up the air cleaner but have to make some brackets so it wll clear the injectors. I don't feel like bolting up the serpentine just to take it apart again. As soon as I figure out what colors I am going to paint the truck with, I can paint the engine and dress it up... I need some gromets for the radiator or something. There is not much of a flange on it. I drilled the rivits out of the lower brackes and used long all threaded bolts so I could adjust them up so the radiator sat flush with the top of the support...

Re: Big Block Build is what I'm calling mine. New pics inside

Ok kinda new update. As some know I got the radiator mounted. I have also ordered a new distributor and I just scored a new intake manifold on E bay. Now all I have to do is paint the engine and then I can assemble it. Just need to get my color is all. I drilled some holes in my mount and put the side covers on. How I just have to drill for the hood latch..

Re: Big Block Build is what I'm calling mine. New pics inside

I did more work on the truck today. Just put in the new steering box and hooked up the other steering column. This is a metric box seeing I will be using a metric pump. And you can see in one of the pictures how the 75 control arms bolt up to the 65 crossmember. The lower shaft is from the suburban I had I think . It was an 88. Either that or I got it from a truck but I think it was the sub..

Acually. The column in the truck came out of a Van Camper. I got it at pick and pull one day when they had 25% off so it was $28...

Not at the moment, but I can do that tomorrow only because I don't feel like going down to the garage and taking any.. Plus there really isn't much to see...

The shifter was a bit sloppy is all. I will probably put that column up on E bay soon.

Re: Big Block Build is what I'm calling mine. New pics inside

I put some paint on today. Yeahhhhhh.... It is only primer but it dosn't look to bad. It needs some touch ups. Next is the firewall and maybe even some color soon... The patch on the right inner fender even turned out pretty good.
