I like the no side marker look on that. Really cleans it up a lot.

How did you mount the fenders to the side of the bed?

Re: Final mock-up pics, whatdaya think?
I used the excess part that I cut off the stepside fender and made them into brackets. I have several more detailed pics in my build thread in my sig.

Re: Final mock-up pics, whatdaya think?
Since 72Freak came on here earlier bragging about his pretty new paintjob on his C-30-j/k , I finally got off my butt and decided to paint my rims and put the caps and centers on there. If I decid to paint the truck black like I originally planned, I will may leave thee on here.

Re: Final mock-up pics, whatdaya think?
They were none built from the factory, but you're right, I'm definitely not the first person to build one. I have just always wanted one.

Re: Final mock-up pics, whatdaya think?
wow if I didnt know any better I woulda assumed it was a factory option! nice job, I would put just the rear light marker on the outside fender to see if it would look even better, 2 deffinantly looked odd but 1 might look just right.

Re: Final mock-up pics, whatdaya think?
So after nearly a dozen years to think about it, I'm thinking I may end up liking it a little lower, rather than higher. The diesel made the front end come down quite a bit, and I'm liking the look of it. I don't want to lose any towing capacity, so I'll probably do lowering spring hangers or shackles. I don't want to slam it, but I believe it will look really good leveled out. It rides much smoother now than it did with the 292, so I'm inclined to the leave the front end alone.
Please excuse the Alabama springtime snow (pollen) all over it!

Re: Final mock-up pics, whatdaya think?
Love the concept. But please, don't castrate it by doing the bag thing!
So, if you have to put lights on the leading/trailing edge, what about the Plymouth dot sidelights?

Re: Final mock-up pics, whatdaya think?
I’m afraid to say! I planned on paint almost 12 years ago, so I’m just taking it day by day now! 😂🙈

Re: Final mock-up pics, whatdaya think?
If you would have put it in 12 years ago it would be close to be getting out of paint jail now =)

Re: Final mock-up pics, whatdaya think?
Curious, were you able to retain the original dually Cab and chassis rear axle? If so how did the placement of the original wheel wells in the bed work out for tire clearance?
