The 89 Firebird I bought for the g/f...had no cat when I picked it up. Theres a guy here that buys those things...and the scrap yard gives about 25 for them. This guy will give anywhere from 50 to 150 a cat depends what one you have. So these people will cut one off really quick.

The cats on my brothers Tahoe did the same, truck was running but terrible, I looked and told him what I thought. He had it pulled to his mech. and the cats were almost completely clogged. The great part was all the heat had killed the trans. A bad day for him, cut the cats off quick fix, new trans, priceless. Well there was a price 2200.00

I never expected it to have a catalyc converter ither being a 67-72 model truck it is a 67-72 correct??? If so how much for the ignition and headlight mounting parts.
