Re: Whats your trucks name
My truck has two names...Me and 70cstjr call "her' THE GREEN MACHINE because it's going to cost me (did you notice I said me 70cstjr) a lot of GREEN when she goes into the shop this winter for her "make over". My 70cst is also factory painted tuo tone green which is a little unusual. Now my wife calls it "UGLY". Go fiqure? maybe it's a wife thing?

Re: Whats your trucks name
Nothing special here. Called the 72 old green before the 69 came along, but also call the 69 old green. I guess it will be confusing when I get the 72 on the road.

Re: Whats your trucks name
My truck is named "NUTHIN' FANCY" (see sig for explanation)......I've also been known to call it "the green machine" since it's green. But when I'm in an affectionate mood she's "Betsy"....don't know why, there are probably a million "Betsys" out there.Just sounds like an appropriate name for an old vehicle, and as others have said there's that feminine attachment.

Re: Whats your trucks name
My 70 K10 has been called "Goldie" ever since Dad bought it in 72.
My 68 was nicknamed the "Hot Rod truck" by my son after I finished her the first time. My 02 GMC is nicknamed "Jim" by my daughter. And, well, my old Subaru is "Scooby Doo". Again , the kids.

Re: Whats your trucks name
My 72 chevy 4x4 is called "precious"because my dad sees how I wax, and wash it all the time. That and its a 4x4 that has never seen mud.
The 99 silverado is named "guinea pig" because it was my dads prototype expirement for his supsensionMaXX leveling kit company. That and for a 4.8 it hauls a 2,000 lb load in the truck box or a 5,000 lb trailer and still running strong with 150k. http://www.newline-shop.com/nlc/lotrnbmyp.jpg |

Re: Whats your trucks name
We call my 69 Chevy "Grasshopper." My mother in law named it. She said it reminded her of a grasshopper... It was light green with a white tool box.
My blue 68 GMC we call "Bluebelle." |
