I have a pit in my stomach now after looking through this thread. I'm gunna go home and hug my truck a little tighter tonight..

I hear you on that one...I'm going to give mine a big huge and maybe a kiss too. This is sad and as for ChevLoRay if you get to worring like I sometimes tend to do. When I park mine for the night or whatever I unhook my battery cables...only takes a second and it just feels safer with no fear of anything shorting out. My buddy has a 65 Chevelle and his about burnt down when he was sitting at a Sonic. He got it put out but it about burnt every wire under the dash. He had his buddy touch some wires together for brake lights. He would just yell...hey im going to stop so touch thoughs wires...lol...it was kinda funny, that he had to touch the wires for brake lights we made fun of him for awhile . |
