Is it just the steps that get heat in? My fleetside never got heat. It was also my defroster before I fixed my switch.

I would like to see the ELECTRIC SLIDER, actually installed in one of ours. I think I might like it. As long as it doesn't protrude too far out from the body.
I like talking so as to be able to hear each other without screaming, and when I'm alone, I like to turn up the tunes.... So I like the exhaust to be heard from the rear of the truck!! Not "QUIETLY" either.. There is some good buys on regular sliders, on E-BAY! I've seen them go new for $28.00 There's a guy in UTAH that has them quite often. RON |

GOTTA HAVE IT!!!!
I used a tinted /smoke glass with a black frame. Not near as "noticeable as bright al. frame. Also helps keep the back of my neck from "roasting" when sun is behind you. I use it in almost any weather conditions. No heat / exaust probs!

Hey Zkast, You dont have to get an electric slider to get rid of the metal frame area. They make manual sliders that are 3 piece instead of 4 for our trucks.
BTW, has anyone ever seen a slider in a little glassed 67?

Yea they had 3 peice back when I bought this one, no idea why I didn't get it then lol.
I figure if im going to take the slider out, why not go back with something different. I think it would be pretty cool to just flick a switch rather than reaching around for the akward sliding window. |

Zkast, I've been thinking the same thing for more than a year now. I like the looks of solid glass better but if I was to put a slider in, it would have to be 3 panel, power and definitely Black frame. Have you found a line on them yet? I've seen the 3 panel manual slider but haven't found a power slider yet.

Church: Here's a pic of a small slider for a '67 that a member posted awhile back. I'm sorry I can't give credit to the owner because I forgot who it was.
