Re: 72' K-10 Bbc!

Thanks guys.
Well I have decided where I am going and did some work on pulling the 350.
I am going to rebuild the TH350 and move the motor /tranny and t case forward. The plan is to buy a Transpak kit from B&m.
Any one have some advice on a good brass and copper 4core radiator.

Wow, looks like a great project. That motor should be quite frightening. I can't imagine a what a big block in a Regal must have been like.

And those 'supportive' words in that youtube clip remind me of the good old days learning in the shop with my Dad.

Re: 72' K-10 Bbc!

We don't need no stinkin' mpg!! Wow, I am impressed, I could barely afford to put gas in my first truck when I was a senior, let alone a BBC with a blower. Heck of a ride. I would consider new drive shafts as the grunt from the BBC will snap them sooner or later and good U-joints.

Re: 72' K-10 Bbc!

My grandparents took it for a ride.
They did need a step stool to get in it.
They were the third owner.
My Uncle who is the original owner didn't want to get in it.
I didn't have a step stool, I will let him drive it sometime.
My grandpa forgot about the old power steering and brakes.
They had a good time.

Oh man listen to that blow whine!

You need to get some wide open video. Both inside and outside. Burn outs are a plus.

Re: 72' K-10 Bbc!

Thanks guys.
Update.

On my to do list is tinting the back window w/30% or lighter.

Installing a Holley Iniahaltor ignition system with boost retard I picked up used for 100 bucks but I need some instructions. Holley don't know **** about this kit. No PDF of instructions looking on the net right know for some.
800-300 model number.

Went for a weekend up to silver lake sand dunes and conqured all. To many qauds making huge ruts for us old school leaf sprung suspension. Ouch. My passengers heads almost hit the roof quite a few times. 9mpg highway. ohh well summers over at least I left home once this summer.

Truck ran great 330 round trip.

Re: 72' K-10 Bbc!

My buddies huge yellow jeep broke as soon as he started wheeling it. Something to do with little Dana 30,35 axles on 37" rubber. The front end started to bounce while in 4 wheel drive and broke the lock out hub. More than enough power running a 360 AMC and a 4 spd. except having manual steering and brakes. The way there it was super windy and at 65 mph that jeep gets squrily.

I said it should be called "The White knuckle Express"
