Re: Tri-Pro's "Project GPW"
How`s he gonna do that sitting on his arse pokin`keyboard buttons all the time?Wait! I was supposed to leave saying that to someone else.
Get all the dirty work done and I`ll roll up. All these trends going back to basics.I`ve heard of rat rods, patina pickups, and now Fred & Barney power?

Re: Tri-Pro's "Project GPW"
today jim buttoned up the firewall and did some measuring and marking for the footwell patches. He then hung a set of doors to check final fitment so he can start welding up the floor and firewall. Then the rockers will come off to do the "A" and "B" pillar

Re: Tri-Pro's "Project GPW"
very nice plan and a good deed for your friend.....
Do you stock those floors? I am tempted to go that route instead of my 50 patch panels.... I am close enough to pick it up from your shop...Can you cut the hump out to add a high hump? Are you coming out to Carlisle again? we met at Special K's spot at the truck show last year...

Re: Tri-Pro's "Project GPW"
While Jim works on the cab I started assembling a bed. We decided to change the stepper to a fleetside wood floor bed.

Re: Tri-Pro's "Project GPW"
Nice work Jon. Check out the '73 and up rear crossmember, it has a ledge in it that the wood sits nicely in, and it gives it a more finished look. The holes even line up for the SS rails
