Re: All Black Trucks Here!!!
A few more. The last one is a PS of a phantom '67 SS like the Golden Cameo concept truck. I actually think I'm going to try to build this when I finish my dually.

Re: All Black Trucks Here!!!
call me crazy, but i never thought these trucks looked good in black. Mind you my favorite color on vehicles is black, but for some reason, I don't feel that way with these trucks. Maybe it's because black hides(or softens) the body lines, and on these trucks, I really like the body lines. I had a 97 f150 in black and it looked killer, but that body style was very curvy.
Anybody else feel the same? |

Re: All Black Trucks Here!!!
Actually, that's my second favorite on 69-72 trucks, and probably the color I'm going with on my '69. As much as I love black, it is hard to have a black daily driver. My Z71 is black, and I can't keep it clean!

Re: All Black Trucks Here!!!
Good morning people, first of all I think all your black trucks are beautiful. As for my 72, my family and I learned the hard way what not to do during a thunder storm. My father and I both pulled over on the side of a highway during a down pour. I got out of my truck and into my dad's 69 and within a couple of minutes a young guy hit us from behind (he had his license for only a week) He was riding on the shoulder of the road. Things happen fast when your not paying attention. He wrote all three trucks off and no one got hurt, we were all very lucky. Please learn from our mistake .......get completly off the highway.

Re: All Black Trucks Here!!!
I've seen to many accidents where drivers either didn't pull all the way off the road, or the other driver was riding on the shoulder instead of their lane.
Be safe out there!

Re: All Black Trucks Here!!!
I am anxious to be able to show mine, but will the flames keep if from being qualified for such a thread? Guess we'll need a "flamed trucks" show-me.
Nice looking trucks, folks. Other colors are nice but having a black finish is asking for extra attention to where we park, for instance. One thing I didn't realize is how many shades of black there are. You'd think black is black, right? Not so, I found out.
