Re: Rebuild or buy new
I figured I would send it someone who knows what he he is doing rather than me messing with and having trouble getting it set up right and waisting a lot of time. It will cost about $400.00 but it will be right.
Take care all and Merry Christmas. Ron

Re: Rebuild or buy new
I have a 750 speed demon on my 68 and a quadrajet on my Trans Am. The quadrajet has been on there since it was new with 5 rebuilds. It originally was installed on the Olds 403 it had when it was new and now is on my Pontiac 455. I made very few adjustments to make the switch. Great carb. Buy a book that tells you all about it. You can hardly beat them except with fuel injection. Get that book here. http://www.amazon.com/Rebuild-Modify...8621865&sr=8-1

Re: Rebuild or buy new
I had a holley and I could never get it to smooth out. Tried for almost 3 months. Found a qjet and had it rebuilt. Made some small adjustments and it ran for fine for almost a year before I tore the truck down. That is my 2 cents anyone have change

Re: Rebuild or buy new
Arad68 The guy that wrote the book is who I am sending my Carb to. Seems like a real nice guy.
