Re: How rare are 2WD blazers where you are??

Since I bought mine, I haven't seen one 2wd, but about a jillion 4wd. To bad mine looks like a 4wd , but that will change very soon...parts are rollin' in

Re: How rare are 2WD blazers where you are??

I'm think about buying a 4x4 and making a 2wd, i can find a decent one in the midwest right now....well i'm cheap, so that doesn't help when wanting a 'rare' vehicle.

Not that rare here in this part of Cali. The trick is to find a clean one tons of junk and 4X4

There are at least 3 that I know of in the Anchorage area. And since the Municipality of Anchorage is 130 miles driving distance north to south and about 20 miles east to west, That ain't very many for up here.

I must be one of the 3. I had 3 when I lived in Fairbanks. The 74 I got last year (700.00) and have not started on it as I needed to finish (or at least get close) my 4x4 Van. Planning on starting on it next summer. Mine is the only 73-75 I know of and the others are 76-79 (one black one white) I don't know of any 67-72's. Seems to be a few Burban's in 2wd being used as family trucksters.

Re: How rare are 2WD blazers where you are??

not sure how rare 2wd will be now that you can buy a drop member (more and more options for this) and make any 4wd into a slammed 2wd. Sport Trucks just picked a $200 4x4 and put a drop member on it for their bagged k5 project. If i were building one, that makes more sense as i would probably bag it anyways...

Looks nice. Are you going with a square headlight front end?
