Re: My SFBD 85 Build-Up

probably a dumb question but, are you putting the A/C back in the truck? Wanted to body drop mine with the 22s but I dont wanna loose the A/C and I dont know if its possible to keep the A/C and be low.

Re: My SFBD 85 Build-Up

You can use a Vintage Air kit which mounts under the dash and doesn't protrude into the engine bay.

what he said. im not going to run any AC or heat. im shaving the firewall completely smooth. the only thing thats going to be visible is the brake booster and master cylinder...

and the only reason i bought the wheels in the first place was for mockup becuz i couldnt afford to buy the Billets yet due to some unforseen circumstances. All is well now and am dumping more and more money into. i call Dean Gordon at Protools today and ordered a bender along with the tubing notcher. going to be here in a few weeks. thats when i will get to really work on the rear frame sections... and thanks for all the replies guys. Ur comments are much appreciated and they also help keep me motivated.

and for my stocks, i actually had them widened to a 12 inch wheel for the rear of a buddies truck and then sold them to him...sorry.

Darrell

Ya thats what i figured, I was hoping it could be done like the newer trucks where you cut the box and you just loose the outside air, vintage air isnt cheap lol.
