Re: parting a running 72 chevy now!!!

I'm interested in the alternator brackets, if Shane doesn't take them first.

Re: parting a running 72 chevy now!!!

Guys I'll let you know what happens today. I may make more parting it out BUT I'd have more time invested in it then. And if I sell it whole, I'm keeping one alive and on the road. Thanks Randy

Trust me, im his son, and i took it out on the road, stalled a little, but sure as daylight left some black marks to let those hondas know whos still in charge, shes gonna spend some time being a relaxed old farm truck, better than being cut up for honda blocks, (do they even use steel anymore?)

Re: parting a running 72 chevy now!!!

I got a PS pump coming in maybe this week, I did some trading for it, I got PS boxes here. I got one 70 door out there, I'll have to check the condition of it. No R700 tranny's
Thanks Randy

How much for the PS stuff? Let me know on the Regulator..

The tranny is no big deal. Just will be easier to change the gears out on the rear end.. was told they were 4.11 ... so that is real low.. It was more of a farm truck i believe..
Would you have any 3.73 gears to put in it or a complete rearend?

Re: parting a running 72 chevy now!!!

the underside is pretty severly rusted, but its a nice original truck, and will probally one day be used when randy finds me a nice frame for the 5 lug and power brakes, and ill probally fix the cab and whatever else i can use.

Re: parting a running 72 chevy now!!!

Macgyver76, window regulator is bad that I have. I do have PS boxes and I do have ps pump coming in, but no hoses $70 all it. I do have 3.73 5 lug complete rearend for $100. And I do have that brown front clip and also a good bed that I said something about earlier when you asked
custom72c20, Nick, I got 2 driver quality hubcaps like was on this truck 1/2 caps, for $10 plus shipping. They are not the best but are hubcaps.
I didn't get the GMC bought so it won't be coming in.
Thanks Randy

Chevyborn&bred, Its been tore apart, I mean body off it, the frame is good with all crossmembers. No tranny or transfer. Has front end, I don't think the rearend was there. I'm going to try to go down there this weekend and get it. Thanks Randy
