What I am not sure of is what I was thinking of at the time. Duuuuuh!!!

Jon's offer, (TriPro) might be our best shipping alternative. I'd gladly drive the parts to him.

Thanks Jon for the offer.

No worries, just checking. Also, just to make sure, this block is standard (bore and crank) and has never been rebuilt.

Jon, what do you need to know to figure out a quote?

Your ZIP Rob, and if you can work with a local business to go B to B vs home del. it's a better rate. I've got palletized motors to weigh

Re: WTB Big Block 402 or 454

Just waiting on some pictures and want to make sure that everything is standard and never been bored or resized.

Thanks to both.

PS You don't have a turbo 400 with the same date code (1970).

I have heard that Forward Air is a real good way to ship an engine across country. They even supply containers to ship it in.

NitroMike and TriPo,

The pupose for the engine didn't materialize. I appreciate both of you for your time and effort and apologize for any inconvenience. If there's anything I can do for either of you, please let me know.

Thanks again,

Rob

Rob,

No problem. The thread has generated some PM's from other board members that have interest.
Good Luck.

Cool!! I got a PM from another member asking me if it was OK if could ask you about it. I was very impressed that he took the time to do that (he didn't have to). Extremely courteous on his part and I thanked him kindly. In light of some of the stuff that has happend on the board lately, it was a very refreshing gesture, and something we should all make effort to do. Peace.
