Something like this...

...with a fiberglass bed cover with a grave yard mural on it and red interior would be really cool.

Black all black! Dark black tint, With a red interior. No flames...but some evil looking dark red pinstriping.

If I was the grim reaper, I'd use a 4x4 for easy collection of those souls on the sidewalk.

I usually don't like red lit gauges unless they came that way from the factory, ie. 3rd and 4th gen Trans Ams. However in the cluster they look awesome! Reminds me of a jukebox. Are they red LEDs or red colored bulbs?

I'd take some cues from the movie Christine. Real dark tint. The red guages would be teriffic. Loud exhaust, lopy cam. Low to the ground.

Re: If the grim reaper drove a 67-72 how would it look?

It would have side marker and clearance lights (even though it was otherwise a completely smooth body) that looked like the attached picture. It would have the 30 inch floor shifter with a skull for the knob, and skulls molded inside the headlights and on each power antena. The box would be filled with a Harley whose front tire was wedged between two rows of flame throwing exhaust stacks that matched the Hilborn injection tubes sticking out of the hood and it would be painted with Dupont Hot Rod black and covered in ol school flames. Custom built smooth steel wheels with custom Yokohama wide whites. Eight 59 Caddy tail lights across the roll pan and early chevy grill teeth up front. And it would have to have a frame that can drop below ground level.

Thats how I would do it anyway. I see someone already posted the artist rendering of my truck on this thread (done by Gerard Blommaert in Alberta, Canada and before I found a nice black hog for the box) so no need to add it. Rob (grnddwn) says some pictures of my grim reaper under construction are already on the site as well...I don't know where though.

I am going to get that truck done one of these days...just keep finding cooler and better ways to do things. Built it several times already I think!

Good luck with yours and welcome to sinister.

Re: If the grim reaper drove a 67-72 how would it look?

67_C-30 Man, where can I get some of those cab lights!?!?

Gerard actually molded the skull into an original cab light and then smoothed the whole thing with body filler. We have the molds perfected we think and have made five lights each with a slightly different shade of amber. Still trying to get a color that is a bit darker.

The mold making part is the hard part. Lights are relatively easy to cast after that and are very cheap. Couple bucks worth of materials each. I don't think anyone makes lights like this for sale. If you really want some, we might have some extras after the color testing is done.
