If you're planning on reselling it I would think the off brand engine would hurt it somewhat. Most people want to see a chevy in a chevy. Unless of course you've managed to get an ultra huge cubic inch cadillac under the hood. Well....some people still aren't going to want to see that. As far as the moldings go......I like to see em but it is quite an expense. Remember that patina look is still real popular and it's hard to fake it to look like what you've got already. Might want to consider getting a chevy back under the hood and a mild drop and a working air conditioner and go from there.
