It's also a 4X4 guys.The Big block was not an option in them.If it was a factory optioned 4X4 and a Big block it would be rare.Especially with the crew cab conversion.

Thanks for the link 67Heaven.I would agree most 4 door cabs at this time were done by approved conversion companys for GM.Most seem to be standard models strictly for business, while this one must have been ordered by a customer who knew exactly what he wanted. It looks like it even has the custom camper emblem on the first set of doors.

Either way... there were millions made with small blocks and inlines and V-6's in the GMCs.

it would be alot less work to use this truck and make suburban doors work in the back, than it would be to cut a burban down...

they didnt make a 1 ton 4x4 till '76 or so, right?

not sure exactly what year, but I know it was 73 - 87 when they did.
