Angry Stereo

Man I want one of those new decks with the fancy flip-down faces. I am really close to carving into my dash and putting one in. Like you I am keeping my truck, and Im not restoring it to factory condition so why not???
Anybody have any input on cutting into a dash??
This sight is the coolest, and I am glad there are other enthusiasts like you guy's out there.....:p

Stereo vs dash!

I say if YOU want to put a flip down stereo in YOUR truck... Go for it. Your the only one who has to like it. I put one in my truck, and the 69 camaro, and the 68 camaro will have one as well...... Gotta do what makes you happy. Just my opinion.
Later,

I cut my dash about 13 years ago and have never regretted it. Stock means nothing to me, updated and functional does, so I go with what I like. Either way, you should too!

HOLY SCHNIKEY!!!! That truck of yours is AMAZING!!! Yeah Barn9, I am not only thinking about orange, I think I'm obsessed with it. I have done my dash in Chevy orange already and have finished painting all the dash pieces to match ( glove box, ash tray dash bezel) This truck is very re-assuring that orange is THE color for 67-72's. Thanks for posting these great pics
