It's all relative. In reality, it probably doesn't. But the same way I don't walk into someone else's house and don't leave lots of duplicate posters of everything on the walls, I don't want to post up duplicate photos all over this site. No matter how you slice it, each picture takes up room on the server, hard drive space is limited, so any excess picture uploading puts a dent in what other people can post. So if it's already posted somewhere else, no point in reposting.
There *is* a way that you can just reference other people's pictures that are already posted without re-uploading them and doubling the space used, but it's a pain in the butt, time consuming. Easier just to give the person interested in looking a link to a place to see pictures and let 'em have a field day. We all like different pictures of different things anyway, so ....

Welcome to the site 6chevy9. Yes, there are a few threads with this type of pic readily available, but since when do you guys mind posting pics of your rides? I have to say I'm disappointed in the way this young man was welcomed to the site.

Man look what i started, you know that all this could of been avoided if this would of been done from the get go.
Man if it takes an apology to get you guys to lighten up, then I apologize. Really I just wanted the kid to have some nice pictures to inspire a younger generation to get out and build and fabricate. This generation wants to play a video game, and get fat, and blame his parents for everything. Sorry for the rudeness but it is amazing what a picture can do. |
