Re: Complete rolling chassis not too far Off!!!
Wow, I can't wait to see what the rest of the pickup looks like if that frame is what's underneath.

Re: Complete rolling chassis not too far Off!!!
I see a very nice restoration happening there, real nice. Thank you for posting those pics.
for the one asking about the steering link/center link, they are extremely close to the crossmember with wheels straight and move away slightly as you steer left and right. Its common for a person to tear down a frt end like that and place the center link on backwards with it being further away from the crossmember. Make sure yours looks like the pics above as his is clearly showing the correct spot.

Re: Complete rolling chassis not too far Off!!!
They are plasticote cast blast #285 I think. The manifolds are high heat por-15 Manifold gray. They have not cured yet and should lighten up some.

Re: Complete rolling chassis not too far Off!!!
Very nice work to say the least! I have a question .... are you going to be putting inspection markings on your frame and suspension? Again great work.

Re: Complete rolling chassis not too far Off!!!
You'll like the manifold gray, I used it on new, prepped manifolds and have had to adhesion problems to date. A word though, it will smoke slightly when you first fire it up, but that's just curing the coating.

Re: Complete rolling chassis not too far Off!!!
Yes, I will put all the inspection marks on. I am still doing research on where all the marks go and I need to buy a kit with all the different colors and stuff.

If you were closer, I would come and do your rear brakes just so I could touch it.

Re: Complete rolling chassis not too far Off!!!
Thanks again for all the comments. I must give most of the credit to my dad, he is the real restoration pro. He has taken a couple of 67 vetts to Bloomington gold status. My main contribution has been my pocketbook and being the helper.
