Re: The little red mustang and the punk who drives it

my friend has a 78 mustang II and he was having problems with it, so i went over to help out...his carb was sticking wide open, and then he was also having an electrical problem and it wouldnt start, so had enough was getting ready to go home...so just to rub it in his face i did a burnout in his driveway...

i am one of those arseholes... But i would only do it to a person i know. In your case laugh at him and then hunt him down and let the air out of his tires...

Re: The little red mustang and the punk who drives it

I'm afraid to admit this one but when I was in high school we used to scout out shops that had double bay doors (drive in/drive out like Jiffy Lube) and then roll through an open bay with the horn blaring. Scared the crap out of quite a few guys doing that...

We never hit a shop twice...didn't want to get a wrench through the windshield. It was funny at the time but in hindsight, it was an a-hole thing to do.

Re: The little red mustang and the punk who drives it

For many years, I worked as a mechanic at a local Ford dealer.

Sometimes, just for fun, I would park my 69 GMC in the front by the new cars, just so I could watch potential customers walk past 50 new mustangs so they could get a look at my 40 year old truck.

What you have is a true classic, all the little punk has is a Ford. (that daddy probably bought for him.)

Re: The little red mustang and the punk who drives it

I am a previous owner of a mustang, when someone would get next to me and rev and what not I would laugh, nothing goes through a car enthusiast like laughing at their ride. I did love that car but regardless of the vehicle there is a time and place for that nonsense.

Guess you could always offer to hook them bumper to bumper and see who takes who for a drag. I think you could take him

Re: The little red mustang and the punk who drives it

Had a guy racing around our neighbourhood in a sunfire with a noisy exhaust. One night he was doing this with no lights on so I walked around the side and pitched a garbage can in front of his car. Well my timing was a bit off and it hit the side of the car. He got out swearing about going home to get his gun and shoot me. Cops were called and we had to put up with him going by the house reving hi engine for the next couple of months.

Flag him down and ask him if that is all that thing can do, or if he just doesn't know how to drive it! Pointing and laughing works good too!

Re: The little red mustang and the punk who drives it

That guy sounds like a true douche to me. If he ever pulls a stunt like that again get his plates and tell the cops EXACTLY what happened, you will probably have burnout marks to prove it, and hopefully he will get reckless endangerment, with little kids and all, and maybe daddy will take his keys away for a while, and maybe he will learn his lesson.

retselgerg, if you got a buddy with a dragster. I would dare the guy with the musty tang to drag race you at a dragstrip and knock dust from his arse.

It made me think of mustang sally by wilson pickett for some reason.

Re: The little red mustang and the punk who drives it

I don't know what I'd do.

A couple years back, my car was parked at the curb and I was putting a quart of oil in it.
I was standing on the street side of the car when this little butt munch came around the corner & had his car pitched sideways for about a half a block.
I was skeered; rilly, rilly skeered; so I just acted instinctively.
I had just pulled the oil spout out of the engine when he did that. So I gave the oil can & spout a good back hand fling at his car.
I never heard a sound, but as he was driving away, down the street, I saw my empty oil can & spout on his "package tray", against the back window.

I don't know if he was P.O.'ed at me, or not; but the next morning I saw where somebody had pulled up on the side walk in front of my house & did a burnout all the way to my driveway & then onto the street; about 50' worth.

Strangely enough, nobody had enough testosterone to do that during the daylight when I was home.

That's just my little tale.
