Hi neighbor. If you saw my truck you'd quickly realize I don't know anything about body work or bodyshops. It was pristine 11 years ago but she's had a rough life since then.Someday though I'll fix 'er up,that's for sure.
I do know a guy that runs "Ricks" auto body on Hyperion in Hollywood. He's a real stand-up guy but I've never had anything priced there. That will be the first place I go for advice/body work.

I'm in Studio City as well. I'm getting some body work done at a place out Laurel Canyon/Sherman Way. Price was great, I pick it up in a day or so. I'll let you know how it turns out...

You will find this board to be a life saver...so many experts with decades of experience! I joined a couple of years ago when I purchased my 69 c10. I always was albe to handle small task like brake changes and minor repairs. Now with the help of my fellow board members I am pulling motors, doing minor rust repair and even tried a little bit of painting.....Would have not been possible without the priceless information shared on the board!

Well I picked my truck today, and they did an awesome job. Sorry I didn't get any pics. Straightened out my bed, (Fixed a bunch of dents in it), welded up some holes in the bedsides that the PO drilled. Fixed a dent in the passenger side rocker, and shot the bedsides with primer for $500. They did me right. They're H & T Autobody, they're phone # is (818) 439-9786. I don't know what they would charge to fix your rust, but I think you'd be better off with a new cab.

thx for headz up. it sounds like you got hooked up. Are you going to have it painted?
I have another car in the shop now and when I go pick it up i am going to have them give me an estimate on my truck. I think I might stop in at H & T for another estimate this weekend.

I really appreciate the help. I will let you know how it goes.
