I do know a guy that runs "Ricks" auto body on Hyperion in Hollywood. He's a real stand-up guy but I've never had anything priced there. That will be the first place I go for advice/body work.

I'm in Studio City as well. I'm getting some body work done at a place out Laurel Canyon/Sherman Way. Price was great, I pick it up in a day or so. I'll let you know how it turns out...

Re: A newb from Los Angeles...this forum is great!
Well I picked my truck today, and they did an awesome job. Sorry I didn't get any pics. Straightened out my bed, (Fixed a bunch of dents in it), welded up some holes in the bedsides that the PO drilled. Fixed a dent in the passenger side rocker, and shot the bedsides with primer for $500. They did me right. They're H & T Autobody, they're phone # is (818) 439-9786. I don't know what they would charge to fix your rust, but I think you'd be better off with a new cab.

I have another car in the shop now and when I go pick it up i am going to have them give me an estimate on my truck. I think I might stop in at H & T for another estimate this weekend. I really appreciate the help. I will let you know how it goes.
