Re: Rodent help
One more tip. And this should work in the cab of a truck because I carry my 5 gallon bucket of minnows out to the fish house all the time on the passenger side floor of the truck.
You need a drill, 1/8" drill bit, 5 gallon bucket, soda pop can, anti-freeze, water, wire, and peanut butter. 1. Drill a 1/8" hole just under the top lip of the bucket. 2. Drill another hole directly across from the 1st hole. 3. Straighten out a coat hanger (or use bailing wire or similar). 4. Using drill bit from #2 above, drill a hole in the center of pop can, top and bottom. 5. Put wire through one hole in bucket, through can, then through other hole in bucket. 6. Cover can in peanut butter. 7. Fill bucket about 2 inches deep with 50/50 water and anti-freeze. 8. Set bucket on floor of pick-up. Mr. Mouse climbs up seat, around rim of bucket, and across wire to get to peanut butter. Can spins. Mr. Mouse falls in liquid, can't climb out, no more Mr. Mouse. This trick works good in cabins (summer homes, whatever you call them in your area) only you need to provide a little ramp for Mr. Mouse to climb up to bucket rim. You want the 50/50 anti-freeze mix so things in bucket stay liquid down to -40F. Even below that temp when 50/50 freezes, Mr. Mouse can't climb back out and is doomed.
