Here is a picture before the box part. 2x3 steel with a Dexter torsion axel...I believe I had made for 1800lbs...I would have to find the paper work on that. I do have to play with the tire pressure if I have the motorcycle up front. If there is no motorcycle and full tire pressure it will bounce off he ground on the bigger bumps.

I will probally be camping up by Mackinaw with the teardrop and camper this summer at one point or another....how far away are you??

Here is an idea I had before I got my flip down plate I was thinking about makeing some sort of reciver cover that held my plate on. Just have to pull the pin and slide your plate off.

Re: I made my Blazer a friend!!

The first Blazer teardrop trailer outing was a success. Blazer did a great job pulling even with the 30-40mph headwind on the way down!!

Re: I made my Blazer a friend!!

Sweet!! I want to build a toy hauler like the Extreme 4X4 guys built, big trailer with a pop-up sitting sideways on it. I used to build trailers for awhile in College ($17/hr, what can I say!) I had access to everything at the time but no $$$. You can buy one cheaper, but they are just that "cheaper"! My toy hauler will be long enough to do vehicles as well, thus doubling as a car trailer for the many projects I drag home. One Day!!

Man, sure looks good behind your K5! Been checking out the plans for those little trailers, and the possibilities are endless. I am about an hour and a half south of the Mac. bridge. Do get up that way some on vacations, though.

I am so envious, not only is your blazer running, it's on vacation. Two of my favorite things. Later, Mario.
