Yea the truck is coming along nicely, I actually dont enjoy dragging the projects on too long..Exciting to have it painted and new interior really soon though.

And back to your driveshaft question. It seems that if your swb is a factory V8 Auto it is going to have a 2 piece shaft. If it's a factory 6cyl 3 speed manual the driveshaft is going to be a 1 piece. Now don't take that as gospel but it's what I've seen through the years. So many of these old trucks have had drivetrain components changed that it's a wonder we ever figure out what they were supposed to have originaly. |
