Re: Change of Altitude & Attitude! New wheel pics...
Leave the faded paint, otherwise new satin paint might overshadow the look. As is it is cool. Could you get a 72 rear instead of spacers, as it is a bit safer and the 72 rear is 1.5-2" wider?? Just a thought as I fear a spacer failing at speed and getting someone hurt or killed.

Re: Change of Altitude & Attitude! New wheel pics...
Looks awesome, I asked to have my wheels photo shopped white with the caps. No one did it though. I think I will be running a trim ring to offset the white. Thanks for the pics.

Re: Change of Altitude & Attitude! New wheel pics...
JC,
I'll chime in for James. This is from a previous post. "As for specs, the fronts are stock 15 X 6's with 235/75R15's and the rears are 15 X 8" 6-lug 4WD rims with 275/60R15's. I may add a rear spacer on the rears like I did on my red '69 C/10 to get the rears out just a little more. I also might gp with a 215 or 225/70 on the front. The 235's measure the same as the 275's on the rear but kinda appear taller." He'll have to give you the 411 on the drop.

Re: Change of Altitude & Attitude! New wheel pics...
YES!
My biggest stumbling block about leaving this truck like it is has been the black spray paint on the door (as trivial as that sounds on a beater! ) So today, armed only with Royal blue, Chrysler engine blue, and Hot Rod White spray bombs, I fixed that! I cannot believe how good it turned out. The pics are bad because it was getting dark, but it really blended in quite well. I'll post better pics tomorrow. I think I'm gonna fix the rockers, fix the rust hole in the drivers door and let it ride! I'm still going to do a little more. But seriously, just looking at whole truck, who would ever know it was doctored?

The drop is a RFW original drop kit! I cut a round a half off the front and heated the front just a little to tweak them in , and I heated the rear. Including the can of Hot Rod white spray paint I bought today, my rolling total is up to $1274 and change.

Re: Change of Altitude & Attitude! New wheel pics...
Thank You !! I think you need to have the rears stretched to 15x11 with my back space !! But I think your ride looks great the way it is !! It makes me happy to think someone other than me thinks my truck is cool !! Keep up the good work !! Bob

Im glad to see that those hubcaps went to a good purpose other than holding bolts like I would have done. After seeing your build thread it almost makes me want to keep the old 6cyl.
