Re: Who's Got $40Gs
man - I haven't thought of the movie 'Corvette Summer' in so long - I loved that movie as a kid...(haven't seen that show since I grew up - but I bet it is cheesy as can be) -
I remember going to the 'AutoRama' as a kid and seeing the cars like BigFoot, General Lee, and I think that corvette as well - I would need to check the albums at my parents house though to be sure... Wow - that brings back some memories... Last edited by lks dcvn; 05-10-2008 at 08:12 PM. |

Re: Who's Got $40Gs
I don't understand some people... You put so much time and money into it but you forget about the important things that real car/truck builders will notice. Like the rust on the frame, rear end, and ect... and the stereo, wtf, you put a cheap deck in a custom interior cab? the bottom of the wood bed already as water stains... for saying he has only drove it 100 miles since completed he must have driven it like crap!
Just my opinion... I can appreciate someones time and dream but don't sell it at a dream price. I'll just keep on keepin' on! |

Re: Who's Got $40Gs
berencam,377 is a 350 crank in a 400 block.
I would be mad that someone spilt their grapejuice all over my truck. The worksmanship is good but like staed above the details are somewhat lacking.I also don't personally like the style but then I don't care for most of the womens fashion coming out of Paris either. And $40,000.00 seems a bit steep for "your" masterpiece. It would be cheap for mine though.

Re: Who's Got $40Gs
It looks out of place.... it has to many different trends or fashions mixed into one build, almost like he couldn't make up his mind or 4 generations of builders built it.
As mentioned above, I appreciate the craftsmanship, time and effort put into the build, everyone has their own style, how boring would it be if we all liked the same things or we were all the same?
