This is true but on the other hand there's none of that bullcrap going on like you saw with the ricers down on Hwy 6. I can take my 2 year old daughter out to look at cars and not have to worry about some idiot acting up.

If you want quality and quantity then hit the Kroger on Spring Cypress like mentioned before. Quality cars with security to ensure there is no BS. It's da-bomb.com

That is a good point and is something I will have to consider soon with my 11 month old daughter. Ole Blue 68 when you say our kind of truck, what exactly do you mean?

The next time I go out like that--maybe this weekend--I will stop by in Atascocita if I leave early enough, and then cruise to Spring Cypress and Champions Forest, right? If N2TRUX says its that good, then....
Maybe I can get a whole caravan to go with me from one location to another.

Sorry, should have looked closer at your avatar... I meant 67-72 pickups. Have yet to see any Burbs/Blazers down there.

Re: Who's in the Houston area?

I should be able to get out Sat. I will drive the Blazer since I'm trying to sell the wheels. Can anyone else make it?

Ole Blue 68, I know the truck that you are talking about, I think. Is it a straight up drap truck or more like a pro-touring type? Either way it is really nice and, I have to agree one of the nicest I've seen.

Re: Who's in the Houston area?

I'll be in League City tomorrow for my uncle's retirement party, but I won't be in the truck. That would cost a fortune to drive it to Houston from San Antonio!

Re: Who's in the Houston area?

I went to the little Atascocita car show last Saturday and sure enough they were leaving at about 8:00pm when I got there. So then I cruised to spring cypress and champions forest. I got lost because I didn't know 2920 split and I ended up in Tomball. I made it back to the Kroger's at 9:00pm--Absolutely nobody there.
I guess I should have asked, but what time should I go?

Re: Who's in the Houston area?

Hey Slonaker I just came back from houston and it wasn't so bad, 420 miles from my house to the Sam Houston racetrack and $85 bucks later, but that is in my 2001 chevy extended cab I would hate to do the drive in my 86' SWB Oh by the way I'm in the San Antonio area!!!!

Re: Who's in the Houston area?

Well, I finally got moved tp Spring from Beaumont. I drove my old truck to the niftififtees event last weekend and there was a pretty good turnout. There were only a handful of trucks but there were some very nice cars and people. I may actually go again this weekend. I may make an early trip to Humble. I really only get to drive my truck on the weekends so I like to put a few miles on it.
