Re: Before and After

Your truck has always looked really good, but it looks even better now.

It's 10'' lower than when I bought it !! I put a gmc leaf sprung Dana 44 in it and flipped it. The front is homemade I lowered the spring pockets in the lower controll arms and then cut the springs untill I liked it . Thanks for the kind words !! Bob

IMO,the long and short of it is..."It is what it is"

They all look good being what they are.I love a little old shortbed.I love longbeds(notice I didn`t say "big old").I`ve seen longbeds look better than a shortbed can.I`ve seen shortened trucks still not look any better than left alone.Like the girls say,"It ain`t the meat,it`s the motion." Not sure how that applies here,but...How about,"It`s not the pen you use,it`s how you sign your name." uh...not much better. Are you catching my drift?Oh,and I`ve never personally been told these sayings,BTW.

Re: Before and After

I just lowered my rearend today and it looks a lot better, the front is like an old person, tall when young, short when old, I bet after I put my 2.5 drop spindles and new springs on it will be the same hight but you will be able to turn corners without fear of ripping the oil pan off or rolling but man does it work good for traction the thing lifts up hard and make give you that drag car launch pics will come when its sunny again,

Re: Before and After

That makes the gold look cleaner too. I've come to really like the gold and white combo of the 50th anniversary trucks.
