I want to see a picture of the wife that he would give it up for...

And there is no more expensive car to fix than a Maserati..they cost a fortune to do anything to....and dont even tell me it's one of those Bi Turbo POS's they are not real Maserati's

There better be a real sweet looking honey, and a bada$$ Maserati for me to kiss off a GTO.

This guy must suffer from H.U.A.

But hey congrat's on your score!

Re: Barn find..or Should I say garage find

Its a great feeling to walk out there and see a GTO and a Monte SS sitting out there...but this poor GTO has just been plain abused. I will put alot of time and money into this GTO. More than I did the other 4 I have owned.

Wow, it's exciting that you have it but your right, lots of work to be done. Scary to think what is hiding under the bondo.

Where's Chip Foose and Overhaulin' when you need them!

And I would definitely only store that GTO inside, or you may come home one day and find it missing parts, or missing all together. Make the G/F happy. Sell the rest of the cars and focus on this thing. Then you can cruise in style together. Then get you another project after she sees you can complete one. Of course keep the truck.. you have to have a parts hauler right JMHO.

I agree, sell a few things, and focus your money on the Goat, you will be richer and happier in the end. EDIT: didn't see the second page. I would have the tub soda/media blasted, and primed and then you know what you have to work with. Just my $.02

Whats under there scares the hell out of me. I have a few projects going on. I will do them in the order I get parts. The 69 fleet has parts...the goat has parts. The 69 step has no parts. The vega has gotten some parts...and another one is coming in. I may take those two and make one out of the two. The monte is done as far as I am going with it. I decided tonight that the monte is for sale. Already got a buyer possibly. That guy will be here tomorrow. I told him 4300.00.
