But I'm still trying to make it happen. We'll see what tommorrow brings, I'll know for sure by then. Were any of you other guys SERIOUS about going to pick it up? I would like to see someone on this forum pick it up and at the price he's selling it for i can see it easily falling into the hands of some random hack. That's the wrong thing to happen to a truck like that. I'd hate to see someone with a little cash and big eyes pick it up and let it rot in back of their house. That would be a serious

Get that short box with it...you can recoup most of the whole price just on the resell of that short fleetside bed. When my truck was on the road guys would stop me asking if I would sell the bed. Missing wood doesn't matter. Get your hands on it when you pick up the cab.

I have a friend in Texas about an hour north west ofHouston with a big ranch where you could store it until you can get it. I think it would have to be outside though so it would need a tarp or two.

Dude, mistake #1...

I always copy/past CL ads into a word doc if I'm really interested and/or actively pursuing something.

I bet kdrodworks316 has the number.

heres the best I could do, I deleted all my pms and emails regarding this rig after sailed bought it. I might end up with it anyway. If this is not enough you can contact craigslist and they can get you the info you need from this posting number. Now sailed, you know from being a military man, cover your own A$$ first. here you go...sale-726995150@craigslist.org

Re: 1962 extended cab!!! craigslist find....

To let all you guys know, the 62 is safe. I bought the truck from JT off of ebay. I can't remember when it was exactly, but the truck is inside my shop. It is still pretty rough, but a very nice start to a project. It didnt come with a rearend, but since have put five lug under it and put the complete front end back on it. Will take more pics and post them soon. And yes the truck is going to be restored.
