Re: pics of my project 64
Got the crossmember modded for my exhaust to run through and also got it in place and welded in. I picked up some longer u bolts and im working on making the blocks at the moment. Also got some rear coils from a taurus wagon which I think are 4" shorter than stock. For anybody wanting ubolts dont ever spend $50 on em when you can go to most any of your local spring shops and get em for $10-12 a pc. The place I go to makes em while you wait.

Re: pics of my project 64
When I bought my 66 it had one of those gun racks in it too with nice long 1/2 bolts all the way through the cab. It also had the CB mounted in the dash on top of the radio. What was the PO thinking?

Re: pics of my project 64
Ok finally back on the 66 again now that the weather is breaking. Picked up a 1 pc driveshaft and some new u joints for it. Picked up some new outer rockers for it too even though these ones arent that bad. Oh yea also repaired the drivers side fender, cut off the lower half and welded the new patch on (did after the pic). Trying to stay on this thing.

Re: pics of my project 64
Nah its a friends. He needed some room in his garage so I was gonna run it temporarily but the 2 fleetsides I have are gonna take alot less work. Plus I have a really nice stepside if I want to run that but im partial to the fleets.

Re: pics of my project 64
Mine had a gun rack too, they are great for hanging on the garage wall for extension cords...
