Here's the frame off I did w/ my dad last yr. 250 I-6, 3 on the tree, radio delete truck man steering and brakes, 20k original miles, last registered in 1978. Farm truck that only needed front fenders (dents) and rockers (rust) Swapped the 3.73's for a 3.08 posi last month for cruisin"...80's hubcaps, though, looking for a set of original 71's...

Question: On a truck like ace in the hole's green 4x4, I noticed it has tail light trim. Would a truck that originally had tail light trim also have had tailgate trim? (that kind of stuff is why it is nice restoring a low option truck like dad's 71 GMC.
My bro just got done with a 72 Cheyenne...Our uncle bought it new. He said the trim (upper/ lower/ side tool box, tailgate strip, CHEVROLET letters, nickel and dimed him to death. |
