Thanks guys. I was gonna run new rails from front to back. But looking at the timeline I want it done by and the quality of truck I want it to be I figured I better just do it from the firewall back.

Well it doesn't look like much, but it's progress. It takes me longer to decide what I want to do than to actually do it. Tomorrow I will hopefully get the uppers in and some of the tube work done.

Very nice work.I live in Rowlett and would love to see the project where abouts are you at if you wouldn't mind me stopping by sometime?I have a 62 short step that i'm working on and would love to have someone local to run ideas with.Thanks Shaun

Is your truck on the road? I haven't seen too many early 60's short-steps running around the area.

I stripped it then sold it to my friend, the same guy that I bagged the 69 sub for. He plans to finish the truck and use the sub to tow it to shows.

I thought about having one of the commercial guys bend me some exhaust pipes on the conduit bender at work!!!!! I dont know if it would actually work or not........
