I seem to recall the issue was the glass breaking when the door is shut if the window is partially down. But after thinking about it my 75 trans am had framless doors and a much bigger glass. It never broke off. Hope I am remembering that thread correctly.

Here's my work in progress - uh, scratch that - here's my ain't even began to start on it yet project. The PO took the front clip off to remove the engine, so its just sitting on there. It's a '70 that had a 350 and still has the SM465.
