Re: In the path of Gustav
The MS clan (myself, Krue, Putter and GMan69) did alright. No real problems. I think my area was worse, but nothing I can see at my place except a whole bunch of limbs down to clean up...and oh yeah, a leaky dishwasher...which I can't blame on Gustav.

Re: In the path of Gustav
First of all, I hope everyone who wound up in Gustave's path made it OK.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all. Wow thanks for all the prayers and well wishes! Well, we blinked before Gustav did. After the scary 4PM update, we decided to head for the hills. The hills being way over in Austin TX to stay with my sister-in-law's son. In retrospect, we shoulda stayed cause the storm slowly made a more westerly turn than expected and it dropped some in intensity. The local officials back home made it a point to try and scare the heck out of the citizens, and they did a good job of it. I'm just glad it turned out not to be the worst case senario painted for us. I don't know if my house and property have been damaged. Maybe we can get back at the end of the week - I don't know. Best regards Joe
