Re: I've been Cross Pollenated!!! New Project!
Nice buy Shawn. Sad to say that I remember when that was an active project. Greg is a good guy and I know he's pleased that his Dads project is moving forward.
Let me know when you fire it up so I can step out on my front porch and listen for it...

Re: I've been Cross Pollenated!!! New Project!
Oh man, sorry, but forget the Blazer! I want that TrailBlazer SS! Those things are insane! We just bought an 03 TrailBlazer, with the 275 horse Inline 6, and that things pretty quick. Can't imagine what the SS with a V8 runs!!!

Re: I've been Cross Pollenated!!! New Project!
Wow. THanks for bringing this one back up. Unfortunately nothing more to report except that We have everything we need to finish it off, just not enough time to do it. As of right now we need to finish putting in the sound deadener, put the carpet in, add the air bags and compressor, weld on a bigger tank fill neck (the one on there is too small and takes forever to fill), put the A.C. in, and paint the top white, and lastly find a luggage rack for it that we want. We did get the new wheels on and they look good. And I've been driving it a little. I was supposed to work on it all this week, but i had another project that ran over due to parts not being in on time. Hopefully next week I can get most if not all of what's left knocked out.
As for the TBSS, it is a blast to drive. We are really gonna miss it when we get rid of it after I finish the Burb and my truck. THat means we will probably have it for another year at the rate I'm going. Thanks for remembering Big Blue Betty!(as my wife calls her). SHawn

Re: I've been Cross Pollenated!!! New Project!
Yeah she is running great. Shifts awesome now that I hooked up the kickdown. We have a lot of really great plans for her, like I said, I just need time.
As for the wheels we ended up getting some Dick Cepek wheels. Here is a pic:

Re: I've been Cross Pollenated!!! New Project!
Beautiful! I wish that I could get my wife to drive one. Then again, it would stress me out watching her trying to parallel park it.

Sweet ride for sure, but I gotta ask...why paint the roof white? It looks great the way it is!
BTW...what kinda mirrors are those?

Re: I've been Cross Pollenated!!! New Project!
Here it is painted. I like the white roof because it gives it a more "classic" look IMHO. Either way it looks awesome. Have you put the airbags on yet? Do you have pictures of it lowered?
