got the m/t out tonite and starting cleaning up the front suspension, will get the old m/c, the rest of the wiring harness off tomorrow and docome more cleaning

did alittle more cleaning and frame painting, when i make up mu lowering blocks and drop the rear i will finish up inthe reat area and get the rest of the frame painted when i pull the cab

well went to the local boneyard today to scrounge a few parts and brought this home, it came off of a 4x4 wrecker chassis, cab corners, inner and outter rockers were put in no tthat long ago figured it was a good deal for $150.oo.just need to find or make a trans cover for it, and do just alittle floor work by the kick panel ara on both sides oh and will need cab supports but i look at it as im still ahead of the game, will get more pics when i get it off the truck

looking more at the cab the tunnel was cut so not sure it was the factory cab off the wrecker i pulled the cab from

a few pics for you whores out there LOL
cab all gutted wanted to make the fresh air vents were totally cleaned out so i cut them open i did let them dry out real good the brushed in some hammerite paint inside and closed the pass side up and seem sealed it

did alittle more this evening
cut the bad area of floor out, of course it was shot under that floor also 1st i trimmed the floor pan down made this pice up (whatever you want to call it)

then made up the bigger section thats comes off the main floor support, had cut the area form the old section where the cab mount bolts goes thu and welded it to the new piece
compared to the old section, now just need to get the cab mounts for the truck

got alittle more done, cleaned out the old sealant from the roof gutter, sanded the roof down and cleaned and sanded the firewall and primed everything

got the windshield out, sanded and primed the area, i think i found the color im going with, its fairly close to the original color, i also amusing transtar brushablle seam sealer on all the wlded seams to keep it sealed up for another 30 plus years, now its cleanup time in the shop

well no real progress onthe cab, but working on doing alittle body on the bac of the cab. mainly working on getting the old cab off the frame, its all stripped out, removed the complete dash, (not sure what Ill do with it) the cargo lite and anything i could . need to get the front cab mounts off and cut the hump area out for the new cab and remove the doors then off to the scrap yard, shame the firewall is to me all but prefect no extra holes anywhere

made some more progress, old cab off and gone, did more clean up and put some more paint on the frame
did some swapping with a guy, 55-59 for some 67-72 parts got the rf cab support in place and floor welded up,hope toget the rear support in tomorrow and inner rocker all buttoned up

cab corner in kick panel patched up lower fender mount area inner rear corner and last started on the door

thanx, hope to have door done by this weekend need to do alittle tweaking on it and finish up the welding and have it finished off. then clean up alittle over the weekend and start on the driverside. I wil try to get some pics of the inner rocker plate i made up for it

ok it been a few days since i posted here been busy with work and the family. i have the dor al about buttoned up will have to get pics tomorrow nite. this past weekend i put some caster whels on a table/bench brother and I built a few yrs ago, which is holding up well. any way i got the cab corner, front and rear supports and inner rocker cut out
now take note the cab has nwe inner and outer rockers put on but im hip on the inner so i made my own aftermarket on right mine on left shots from underneath
