Re: I was just told of a 72 4x4 cheyenne

Just buying from the original owner is worth the extra $500. You know how much crap some of these multiple owner trucks have had done to them! Plus he might have some original documentation - protecto-plate etc.

Just buy it!

Re: I was just told of a 72 4x4 cheyenne

I hope he still has it when you call him with your offer, my luck someone else would have it bought by the time I called him back. Well worth $3500, here in Kansas thats a $6000 truck pretty easily. Good luck!!!

The '67 looks to be 4x4, so it really isn't that common. Both look very nice. I'd rather have the '72 solely for the more modern drivetrain.

Smile Re: I was just told of a 72 4x4 cheyenne

I lost it to someone else!!
Just kidding.

Called him today and made another offer. He took the offer only if--- I took the extra wheels and tires, the extra set of hubs, the origional rear window and the hub caps if he can find the caps in the barn. I offered to help look in the old barn--- full of what he calls JUNK. I will pick it up tomorrow night.

If he paid anything close to $3000 it was a steal. I don't want or need another truck, but I wouldn't have hesitated on buying that truck at $3500.
