Re: Should or Shouldn't (paint top white)?
I would also like to see a photoshop of it having white a-posts and door window frame too. Otherwise, I like it all blue.
I don't remember where I found this pic, but I always have liked this one. But with yours being darker, I don't know.

Re: Should or Shouldn't (paint top white)?
Either way is good, but I would go with white personally just to break apart the solid color.

Re: Should or Shouldn't (paint top white)?
As I clicked this thread I was saying "No way" to a white top but now after seeing it, I kinda like the look of it. Either way looks good but now Im leaning towards the white top more. It sort of adds a little retro back into the truck...

Re: Should or Shouldn't (paint top white)?
your truck is one of my favorites on this board. you could paint the top purple and I would still love it!!!
but if I have to make a decision, I really like the blue top. more sparkle. did I mention I love this truck??? just wanted to make sure.

Re: Should or Shouldn't (paint top white)?
I am a big fan of the white roof. I think it "brings out the classicness" if I can say that, of the truck. Sort of like the SS stripes on a 69 Camaro.

Re: Should or Shouldn't (paint top white)?
Leave the top blue, or paint it white and the bottom below the trim white. It needs more white if your going that direction. If not leave it blue.

Re: Should or Shouldn't (paint top white)?
Because the divider moulding is on the truck I would paint the top white. The solid color looks great but looks better without the moulding.

Re: Should or Shouldn't (paint top white)?
Can you photoshop a pic with the white arms and door? That might make me change my vote....
Ahh heck, just stick with the blue!

Re: Should or Shouldn't (paint top white)?
Is it true where I think the 67-68 trucks had only the roof (above the drip rail) painted white and the 69-72 trucks had the top (including the A posts, drip rails and door tops) painted white?

Re: Should or Shouldn't (paint top white)?
I'm a two-toner my self. Photo shop the A-posts & then take a look at it. While your at it (Photo shop) under the trim and see what you think! Etiher way that is a great looking truck. Good luck!

I like it blue but wonder what it would look like with the A-pillars and door tops painted white.

Jim i have to say .Your truck and a few others is what caused me to do a frame off on mine....So i dig ti quiet a bit....And IMO i would like to see the top white....IMO there are alot of (resto mod) type trucks that need a little color seperation....I love it whatever you choose....But i am diggin the white top...Or maybe a light silver top...? just my O.2

Re: Should or Shouldn't (paint top white)?
I voted blue but if you do go white maybe think about a little pearl or metalic in the white.. I say leave the pillars blue if you do it... Your truck is beautiful and I can not believe you would take sand paper to it!!
