Re: 6 luggers

I currently have wagon wheels. Planning on going with M/T classic II when resto is finished. I have found many 6x5.5 styles, but most all are on 4.5" backspacing. My current rims have 3.5" backspacing and this M/T style is available in a similar backspacing.

I'm running 6 lug / 8 inch wheels that originally were meant for a Blazer . These are not Rallye wheels but are steel wheels .

Hey sixtyfour that looks nice. What tires are those and what size? Do you have spacers on the rear? Is it a 2" whitewall?

A '64 C10 is 6 lug originally, or are you referring to 6 lug with disc brakes?

Re: 6 luggers

I've got the, um, freakin' sweet original wheels with a nice, beat-up set of '63 car hubcaps.

I actually think these hubcaps were put on the truck when it was new at the dealership, though. They were just as scuzzy as the rest of the truck, and I know it spent it's whole life in the small Nebraska town that I bought it in. I honestly believe the dealer put those on there to tart it up over the painted hubcaps it came with.

Does anyone know if late model rims will fit our trucks or are the patterns different?

Backspacing is all wrong for a newer style chevy to fit a 60-66.
With spacers they will fit as the lug pattern is the same.
With drum brakes I've found a 3.75" backspacing works well.
Measure from the back of the rim to the lug nut holes.
