Re: Axle perch
The problem with those axle perches is that they are not at an angle as needed for the trailing arms. If you're not in a hurry, I've thought about making up some of these that will fit the FF14 bolt. I had a crazy busy day today and didn't get around to measuring for the U-bolts yet.

In fact, the arches would need to be oblong. My latest thought was to just find a cheap junk eaton - that could even be totally shot, and just cut the perches off it. I don't want to cut the perches off my eaton because I want to run it until I get the ff 14 bolt all ready. And even then, I don't want to go and hack-up my eaton until I've ran the 14 bolt for some time, and happy I made the swap. I am by no means in a hurry.

Re: Axle perch
Wow!
Talk about a simple idea! http://www.therangerstation.com/tech...ngPerches.html I'm going to save that page to pdf and post it, just in case the link fails. Of course, one would have to veer from Glenn's layout some, because as Captainfab points out; our perches need to be angled the same as our trailing arms.

From another thread:

And then we see different opinions regarding the single or double driveshaft, of what angle to match. But crazy longhorn's idea resolves this; you get the new perches mounted to the new axle exactly as the original axle.
