Re: Check It Out
looks cool, but any vinyl shop can make you ones that fit the truck correct.... if it were me, i would make them up in the Yenko style, but say something else... or if you like the Yenko make it say S/T

Re: Check It Out
Thanks guys, haha ya the value did jump! That would be sweet to have a custom set printed up, and have someone who was more in the know help me install them, but the budget won't allow it =[

Re: Check It Out
1loc10 is right. You can go to a sign shop and have them print you up a stripe to finish off and go over the bed lip, at least. Should only cost about $30 or so. I dig it.

Re: Check It Out
I like the idea of cutting it to match the body line. I'll try that first

Re: Check It Out
IMHO...
If you aren't sure what would look 'just right' to you, maybe introduce the project to the photoshop folks! If you would like to add or modify what you have going, go to a sign supply, with the truck, and buy some lettering vinyl by the foot. Make yourself a pattern of what you wish to add/change and transfer it onto the new material. Keep a copy of your pattern so you can flip-flop it for the other side. An exacto knife, straight edge and patience can save a ton of $ and can be lots of fun. ..just my half nickel Last edited by ETsC10; 11-27-2008 at 12:34 AM. |

Re: Check It Out
Sounds like a good idea, I actually had it in the photoshop forum for a while, no one was interested in taking on the project. Thats why I just went ahead and did it! I think it looks good, I might try connecting the two front stripes

Re: Check It Out
The blue ones work fine, I just think they look too "ricer" for an old truck

Re: Check It Out
Tooks a few pictures today, but its so freakin' dark and dreary here in P-Town, they don't look very good. Gives you a little idea of the stripes and also what the blue lights look like turned on...... all I can say is- I NEED WHEELS!!!

Re: Check It Out
I would just like some nice 15x8, I want to keep the tires I have. As soon as I burn off the rear tires I want to get some fat ones =]
Ive been searching for some Cragars, Torq Thrusts, Drag Stars, basically any 5 spoke mag-type wheel |
