I'm going to take one of these and make it work and move the radio to the glovebox.

Re: Aluminum 3 gage bezel

I have made some. The one for 67 is done, but I am still working out the details on the 68-72.That one is proving to be a PIA with the big ignition and cig lighter bezels. Here are some preview pics and the one I am doing for NWD02 and his a/c controls.

Re: Aluminum 3 gage bezel

Mekdad- 2 questions on the 68-72' style.
1. Can these be made with thinner metal?.
2. Can you make these with ball milled horizontal lines?

Thanks they look great!

Still trying to get the mounting holes placed in a good spot for 68-72.There is just not any room in the top area with out modifying the heater control panel.I may end up only making them for the 67's,But I have not given up yet.

If you don't mind screw holes all the way through the part

2. Can you make these with ball milled horizontal lines?
I can put all the lines in them you want or engrave what ever you want in any of the parts I make, for a little more cash.

Re: Aluminum 3 gage bezel

I have a 4 piece kit that is thin like this pic. I am planning to use thin double sided tape to hold it on that's why I was asking about making it thin. Here's a pic I found to show the ball milled lines. In reality, you probably wouldn't see much line work because the heater face will take up most of it but it would probably look nice. My kit is aluminum that has been polished to a mirror.

Did you ever finalize the 68-72 style heater control plate?. How much are those going to be?

Re: Aluminum 3 gage bezel

Still have three of these.

c10crazy,It does not look like I can make a 68-72 that would not require modification to the dash or components, other than small holes.
